Adirondack Photography Tours are one day photo shoots for intermediate and advanced photographers that are spent entirely in the field. In addition to brief group discussion, Carl will offer individual attention for questions and critique throughout the 8 - 9 hour day. Photo Tours are set up for photographers with a comfortable working knowledge of basic camera mechanics and techniques - including aperture / shutter / ISO settings / depth of field. One day photo tours are limited in size to 6 partcipants for personal attention and for being less intrusive at the various photo locations. Please check our Photo Workshops for more comprehensive photography instruction.
If you have any questions - or suggestions for additional tours - please Email us or contact us by mail or phone.
Workshops are rated according to the level of activity
Easy - All photography sites will be close to an access point and the terrain will be easy to navigate.
Moderate - There may be some hiking - up to about a mile and a half one way with some elevation gain, as well as rougher, rockier trails used to reach photo destinations.
Strenuous - Destinations may be up to 4 miles from a trailhead with as much as 3000 feet elevation gain.
